Worship with us Sundays at 9:30 am

Youth

At Danville Congregational Church, our Youth Program is a safe, spirited, and welcoming space where middle and high schoolers can show up just as they are. Whether you’ve grown up at DCC, are new to the area, or heard about us through a friend, you’ll find a place here where community is real, faith is explored, and God’s love is made visible.

Together, we build relationships grounded in trust, compassion, and authenticity. We create a covenant each year, share our joys and challenges, offer grace to one another, and grow as individuals and as a community. Here, the social labels of school fade away as we explore who we are, who God is, and how we’re called to care for each other and the world.

We serve others through hands-on mission—like volunteering at GLIDE in San Francisco, supporting Winter Nights Shelter, and participating in service trips. Along the way, many youth form some of the most meaningful and lasting friendships of their lives.

Youth Group

All middle school and high school youth are invited to attend weekly youth group after worship each Sunday. Led by Pastor Lauren and DCC friends, youth will share lunch, tackle the big questions in a relaxed, supportive space, and of course—have fun!

Confirmation

Offered every other year for youth in grade 8 and up, Confirmation is a two-semester journey of spiritual discovery, relationship building, and discernment. Using a collaborative curriculum and offered in partnership with area UCC churches the class explores what it means to live out faith in community. The program concludes with a special Confirmation Sunday, where participants share personal faith statements and affirm their commitment to the life of the church as they become full members.

OWL (Our Whole Lives)

Our Whole Lives is a comprehensive, faith-based sexuality education program offered every other year for grades 7–9 and 10–12. Grounded in respect, responsibility, and inclusion, OWL covers topics like relationships, identity, health, and decision-making in age-appropriate and affirming ways. Open to the broader community, OWL provides youth with the tools to understand sexuality as a sacred and integral part of human life.
