There’s No Place Like Home! Please join Danville Congregational Church (DCC) in making a lasting difference for homeless and extremely low-income families and individuals in Contra Costa County. Contra Costa Interfaith Housing (CCIH) provides permanent affordable housing with vital support services to more than 1,400 people in our community. There are a couple ways to support CCIH’s Ruby Slippers including: attending the event or donating a silent item from the DCC-CCIH Silent Auction Board. Each opportunity helps CCIH work to end homelessness and reduce poverty for those in need.
CCIH’s annual gala, Ruby Slippers – There’s No Place Like Home will be on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Blackhawk Auto Museum.
- Attend Ruby Slippers! Tickets are available at www.ccinterfaithhousing.org or by calling CCIH at 925-944-2244.
- Donate a Silent Auction Item. Your generous contribution of a special item (goods/services) from the DCC Silent Auction Board will boost our auction and benefit CCIH’s innovative, evidence-based programs and life-changing supportive services. Please take a moment to collect a silent auction tag from the Danville Congregational Church / CCIH Board and return it to Carol Gilliland by no later Sunday, January 26.
CCIH pairs permanent housing with on-site services such as afterschool tutoring, case management, housing advocacy, eviction prevention, mental health counseling, and more. This innovative approach makes CCIH a unique and permanent solution to ending poverty and homelessness in Contra Costa County.
For Ruby Slippers – There’s No Place Like Home to be a great success, we need some courage, a lot of heart, and plenty of brains in selling tickets and securing auction items for this fun, over the rainbow type of night!
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Carol Gilliland, DCC Member and CCIH Board Chair, email@example.com, or Carrie Veurink, Manager of Development and Outreach, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 925-944-2244.
THANK YOU for your consideration and support of DCC’s contribution to Contra Costa Interfaith Housing’s annual gala fundraiser, Ruby Slippers – There’s No Place Like Home!
